Linking Script Data to Campaign Data

Once a script has been linked to a campaign, the call list columns are linked to fields within the script.  When the script is popped any linked fields will pre-populate with data from the call list.  When data in these fields is changed by an agent as they transition pages through the script, changes are written back to the call list.

Open up the script to view the script page and fields.  Select a field on the page to view the control attributes.  All column names for each campaign linked to the script are shown and are available for selection.  Click on the column name to link, and then click on the Save button.

Important Information

Only fields that can hold values will have the ability to link to the dialer call list column. Fields that perform actions but do not retain data (e.g., Text Labels, Calculate Controls, etc) will not have the Link Column option shown in the Field Attributes window.

Data is only written back to the dialer during the script run.  Any processes that change the data in the CallScripter Database AFTER the end of a script run will not be written back to the dialer and may result in discrepancies between dialer data and CallScripter Data.

If a script is popped, or launched, more than once, any data previously captured in script fields NOT linked to the dialer call list will be displayed when the script is re-launched.

It is recommended the maximum number of fields mapped is limited to 30.  As a rough guide every 50 fields mapped will add half a second to script pop time.
