CallScripter is a web application that runs in an Internet Explorer (IE) browser. It makes use of JavaScript throughout and ActiveX for certain integration options.

Our current Agent Desktop and associated CT Provider (Communication Toolbar Provider) functionality makes use of current web browser technologies and supports all current CallScripter functionality.   Internet Explorer must run as a 32bit application.   Supported IE versions for CallScripter versions 4.5.24 and above are shown below:

The integration with Interactive Intelligence CIC and Dialer, requires the installation of the CallScripter CT Provider on each agent PC.

When upgrading agents' PCs IE versions please ensure that the IE Settings shown below are confirmed and reapply if required. The Microsoft Internet Explorer upgrade process can reset/lose these.

3. Privacy Settings
Go to Settings--> Internet Options -->  Privacy Tab

4.  Compatibility View
CallScripter runs in compatibility view to allow for differences in the way different versions of Internet Explorer display the application.  For most environments this is configured at the server level for agent convenience.

However for agents using Internet Explorer 10 or where the deprecated Windows Server 2003 (IIS 6) is used as the web server then client side configuration is required.
This is done by adding the CallScripter website either through the "Compatibility View Settings" screen in IE or by loading the CallScripter Website and enabling Compatibility View via the grey/blue page icon in IE to the right of the URL box.

5.  Auto Complete
The Auto Complete feature is set to 'Enabled' for Forms in Internet Explorer Versions 11 and later. This circumvents the data writing procedure, so we recommend this feature is turned off. This feature can be found under Internet Options --> Content --> Auto Complete --> Settings --> Untick Forms.

When viewing CallScripter Website on Servers

IE Enhanced Security (IE ESC) will need to be disabled on the server for the level of the user (Administrator or user) viewing the CallScripter website directly on the server. In addition any IE ESC settings within IE for the user will also need to be disabled.

This does not apply to users running viewing the CallScripter website on their own PCs.
